About Us

The Granville is situated in the picturesque village of Barford in Warwickshire, close to the towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Royal Leamington Spa. The Granville @ Barford is an impressive building which dates back to Georgian times and was named after Reverend Edward Granville, vicar of the neighbouring village of Wasperton.

Around 1810, The Granville Arms (as it was known then) was one of twelve drinking establishments in the village. With unlimited opening hours, the villagers were spoilt for choice and were used to quaffing ale at any time of the day!

In 2007, the Granville @ Barford was bought by Val Kersey who has increased the popularity of the pub by stylishly updating the décor and creating a mouth-watering menu of delicious home-cooked dishes.
